I’m 25 weeks now and we’re officially counting down the days to my due date!

Bailey has been shadowing with me since I became pregnant—following me everywhere, always needing to lie next to me, and resting his head on my belly 🥺 So, I know he senses a change.

I know not everyone can relate, but it’s becoming increasingly emotional thinking about how our lives will change with “two” kids.

Bailey is very much our “first born.” We do everything with him. He’s our whole world. I’m worried how he will feel once baby is here but also excited to see the bond between them grow!

It’s World Wildlife Day 🌏🐘🐧🐢

Conservation of vulnerable wildlife, Earth’s amazing places, and our planet is so important.

I’ve been very fortunate to have explored so many of our planet’s most incredible wildlife encounters—from gorilla trekking in Uganda to swimming with penguins in the Galápagos Islands.

Behind the scenes of any ethical wildlife encounter, there are usually fees that go directly to conservation—whether it’s Komodo National Park in Indonesia or going on an African Safari.

With tourism being one of the hardest hit industries during this pandemic, protection and funding of programs that support our wildlife have, in turn, decreased dramatically.

As we start to plan for the future of travel, let’s do our part by traveling as mindfully as possible and supporting local conservation efforts whenever we can.

And, if you have the means, donate your time or money to @wwf or an environmental cause that you’re passionate about. Even the smallest changes in your daily life (that reduce your negative impact on the environment) make a huge difference ❤️

Let the babymoon marathon begin! 👶🏼🌙

If you’re unfamiliar with the term, a babymoon is a trip you take as partners (or even with your friends or family!) before baby arrives.

You know me—I couldn’t narrow it down to a single experience!

So, we’ve picked a few trips that we wanted to take as a couple over the next couple of months—and we kicked off our first in Vegas!

I’ve been going to Vegas since I was a kid and love how multi-dimensional it is. You can have a family-friendly vacation, a wild weekend partying until the sun comes up, or a super luxurious romantic getaway. It really has it all!

We booked a suite at @venetianvegas for the weekend, ate at some of the best restaurants in town, saw Andrea Bocelli in concert, stayed up (well past our normal bedtime) playing blackjack, and relaxed at the @canyonranchlv spa!

Our lives are going to look VERY different soon so we wanted to plan our babymoon trips around things that we know will be a little harder to do once we are parents—mainly, sleep. Lol!

I’m nearly 23 weeks and baby is the size of a bell pepper 🫑 (or an astronaut ice cream package 👩‍🚀🍦).

I finally “look” pregnant now and can feel baby kick which is such a trip! It’s been amazing to watch my body transform. I feel huge but I know I’ll look back in a few months when I’m double in size thinking how tiny I still was here!

I’m trying to take each day at a time and, now that I don’t feel like I need to throw up every day, enjoy this new journey.
